Chinese wine company Changyu announced on 11 December that the company would acquire 80% stock of Kilikanoon Estate in Australia with AUD 20.6 million. Kilikanoon Estate is located in Clare Valley, Adelaide, South Australia and had been rated as double five star winery by James Halliday in 2013. This is not the first acquirement from Changyu. Before this, Changyu acquired wineries in France, Spain and Chile.
