Reports to: Senior Researcher Manager

Based in: Beijing

Job Purpose Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Market Researcher and together with the market research team undertake work carrying out various interesting and exciting agribusiness related research topics. You will need to be competent at searching out and reporting information in the public domain and also confident enough to undertake primary research through either telephone or face-to-face interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake research (both secondary and primary)
• Assist in the research and production of specific reports and projects as directed
• Gather data on industry players, prices, sales, and method of distribution for inclusion in reports
• Collect and monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature
• Assist in the report production of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating findings into written reports.
• Contact and network with industry members and stakeholders
• Write reports
