7th Working Group Meeting on China-Poland Agricultural Cooperation opens in Beijing
Vice Minister Qu Dongyu and Mr. Jacek Bogucki, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, co-chaired the 7th Working Group Meeting on China-Poland Agricultural Cooperation in Beijing on 12 May 2017.
The two sides exchanged views on the work of China-Poland Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation Center, the developments of agricultural cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and the 16+1 framework, as well as some major issues concerning agro-product market access and trade promotion.
Vice Minister Qu noted that China and Poland established comprehensive strategic partnership in 2016, and the bilateral ties are now in the best period of history. He hoped that the two sides could seize the opportunities and push for greater achievements in all agricultural areas.
Mr. Bogucki expressed his willingness to strengthen cooperation with the MOA, particularly in the areas of agricultural science and technology and agricultural trade.
After the meeting, Vice Minister Qu and Mr. Bogucki, on behalf of the two agricultural ministries, signed the meeting minutes.
