In 2012, Junlebao officially launched the “Sino-Canadian cooperation ranch project" and is expected to be formally completed in 2014. Project consists 500 acres, standardization of breeding sites for dairy farming, and in the future will introduce 5000 high-quality, high-yielding Holstein cows. In addition, this project also has 500 acres of high-quality forage demonstration base, mainly cultivate high yield and quality alfalfa grass and annual output expected around 8,100 tons. This base is aimed to lower feed costs and improve economic efficiency. Pasture base will gradually increase in the formal operational level of dairy farming, greatly improve breeding efficiency, which can ensure milk quality and enhance the competitiveness of Hebei province dairy.
