An increase of 1 million chicken in Dong Nai province
According to the Dong Nai Department of Agriculture, there are 11.6 million chicken in Dong Nai province, increasing 1 million chicken from the end of 2012. In particular, modern farms account for more than 88% of the chicken population, with the remaining 12% being kept in family breeding farms. The farms of foreign and joint ventures companies accounted for 60%. Many companies are planning to increase their flock to better provide for the Lunar New Year in 2014.
